Striped Bass Fly Fishing
(and Spin Fishing, TOO!)
Fly Fishing is our passion
USCG Captain Oliver Dominick has over 50 years experience and is a fly casting champion. He can get you tuned up and hooked up whether you’re a veteran at fly fishing, a little rusty, or a beginner. And if flies aren’t working for you there’s always our faithful spinning gear to bend on a brawny striper.
Flyfishing for stripers on the flats
World class heart-pounding sight fishing for thick shouldered stripers in skinny water between 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 feet deep
There’s A LOT of variety with Striper Fishing
"Sight Fishing" on the Flats
One of the most exciting experiences in fishing is casting to stripers that you can see individually in inches of water. Our flats are world-class, enormous, and perfect for sight-fishing.
Strikes in the Surge
There’s a special feel to the way stripers hit when they’re working in water surging on the rocky shores where they have only a moment to strike and they go all in.
The fantastic thrill of seeing and feeling the power of stripers whacking your fly (or lure) right in full view is especially intense on the shallow flats and when big schools “blitz” on top.
Which One to Cast To?
When the birds are crashing on schools of rising stripers it can get hard to keep up with the action!
The Ultimate for the Flats
If the flats are your obsession, we have the cure: the15 ft Tracker gives us access to water so skinny the fish have nowhere to go but crazy.
Paddle for Stripers
Hooking up a striper from kayak is intense. If you think they’re fun from a powerboat, they seem much bigger and stronger when they’re pulling you around.
